Xtreamer 1080P HD Media Player & Network Streamer

By Anna Richardson

Enter into a new era of digital media players with the Xtreamer 1080P HD media player and network streamer. Released just in time for the holiday season of 2009, the Xtreamer comes loaded with all the features that you desire, and new features like iPhone remote control compatibility, that lets you control your Xtreamer with your iPhone. Stream your video with full HD 1080p, TrueHD from Dolby Digital, and also DTS sound. Google movie jukebox comes standard as the graphic user interface allowing you to easily sort your movies. The Xtreamer HD is the first player to offer Blu-Ray ISO support. This network streamer is jampacked and is way ahead of its competition when it comes to features. All in all, I rate this player as a must have.

The Xtreamer is fairly impressive, and comes with a wide range of compatibility with all sorts of the video formats, and different codecs for audio playback. There aren't too many files, and file formats that the Xtreamer can't play. The Xtreamer HD 1080P solves a problem that is a complaint about some of the other digital media players, in that it utilizes Google's movie and music jukebox programs for user navigation and graphic user interface. Truly one of the most important additions to the Xtreamer HD, is the ability to play BluRay ISO files, since the price of BluRay players and BluRay movies have dropped dramatically.

If you find that you are traveling a lot, or just are an on the go person, this media streamer comes with the ability to be controlled by your iPhone. There is also the capability to stream your HDD media content through the Internet with the Upnp gateway support. Your sound will also come through, crystal-clear at full 7.1 support through the HDMI output or the digital optical output, and is supported by Dolby Digital TrueHD down mixing, or utilize DTS HD Master audio.

The Xtreamer Media Player can be hard wired directly through the ethernet port or it can be set up with a wireless WiFi connection to your home or business network with the purchase of the optional Xtreamer Wireless N USB 2.0 WiFi Adapter / Antenna available for around $29.99USD. Whether hard wired or wireless, you can enjoy browsing through your home media collection on the HD menu system graphic user interface. You can also download or stream live internet content like CNN and ESPN streams. The Xtreamer Media Network Player also gives you the ability to install an internal 2.5" SATA hard drive to expand the capabilities of the Xtreamer and also to store your media directly on the device. The Xtreamer offers multilingual support also. To top it all off the Xtreamer is Windows 7 compatible. Here is the low down on the Xtreamer 1080p player:

Films are maybe the number one favorite form of entertainment for anyone. The fact is that movies are inexpensive, collectively loved and they have the power to affect us psychologically. Knocked Up - A drunken, one-night-stand encounter between young, gorgeous go-getter Allison,, and a disheveled slacker, Ben, changes the tracks their lives are on. It turns out he didn't use the condom, and she's pregnant. Can these two really become a couple and raise a child together?

Juno - Juno is a intelligent young girl facing a enormous quandary. She is pregnant. Wanting the best for the child she strives to find a fitting set of parents for her child. With the foundation of loving parents, Juno tries to deal with coming of age before her time.

Why Is Spiderman So Popular?

By Frank Heltin

Who has not heard of spiderman. He is famous on a world wide scale. Young and old are familiar with the web slinger. Out of all the different superheroes that have came out in the past and new ones that are out today, there are not that many who can hold a candle up to spiderman. This superhero is very different than your typical hero and that is what makes him so famous.

Peter Parker was a normal geeky young boy before he became spiderman. Having no parents he lived with his grandparents who both dearly loved him and wanted to see him succeed in live.

Peter has always been a humble guy. This makes him a real superhero, not a thick headed and always trying to fight hero, who we all are familiar with. Humbleness makes Peter think out situations instead of barging in looking for a fight.

The way Peter Parker got his spider powers was by a spider bite by a spider who was radio active and held in a laboratory. This is a crazy theory, but it is good enough and could actually be believable. Normal people would recover from this bite.

However, in Parker's case, he was given special "spidey powers" when he was bitten. Since his rise from human to superhero comes from something as familiar as a spider bite, fans are able to connect with the superhero of Spider-Man as a regular person as well.

Spider-Man is a fascinating character to watch and really think about. His super powers are very desirable, and a common answer to the question "If you had a super power, what would it be?" He has the ability and agility to jump incredibly high, and climb walls. He can also swing from structure to structure with his web-spitting.

One of the more important powers that spiderman possesses is not his agility, even though that helps a whole lot. What I am talking about is his spider senses. Everytime danger is nearby, Peter Parker gets an internal alert that makes him aware of his surroundings.

Peter Parker his boss Jameson makes Parker's life harder than it needs to be. He always wants to have the best pictures of spiderman, but actually hates him. But because the pictures bring in so much money for the company, he constantly wants new ones.

Spiderman is also very funny and makes fun of his crazy enemies all the time. This sometimes agitates them which makes their judgement more cloudy and easy for spiderman to win. The enemies themselves are interesting and in their own right and have super powers that could rival spiderman his own powers. - 23812

Corporate Fund Raisingl: PIPE, DPO, PPM, OTCBB, Pink Sheets or Reverse Mergers

By James Scott

There are many ways to use capital without using bank loans, lines of credit and other shady methods like shelf corps and bogus platform scams. If you are truly trying to raise capital for your company here are some simple breakdowns of your options with a quick definition for each one:

 PIPE: Private Investment In Public Equity this is used primarily by mutual funds and private investment firms where they buy discount stock in order to raise capital, there are two types of PIPEs traditional where common and preferred stock is issued at a set cap to raise money for the issuer and a structured pipe issues convertible debt.

 DPO: Direct Public Offering is when you sell equity shares directly to customers, suppliers and employees.

 PPM: Private Placement Memorandum is also known as an offering memorandum takes advantage of Regulation D rule exemptions 504, 505 and 506. This process came into existence with the'33 securities act and popularized in the late'80s, companies can raise money from the public via private placement; there is virtually zero interaction with the SEC after you file form d as long as you stay legal. (most popular form of fund raising).

 IPO: Initial Public Offering: extremely expensive, need SOX 404 audits, must have board of directors, quarterly financial reports to shareholders, report heavily to the SEC and 1 out of every 1000 companies that want an IPO actually qualify. I love participating in these but most companies just can't qualify for one reason or the other.

 OTCBB: Over the Counter Bulletin Board is an electronic quote system that is the next best thing if you can't go public via ipo, there is minimal red tape to startups and small businesses and is legitimized by the stringent ongoing reports to the SEC which keeps investor confidence high (these are extremely solid and I suggest this structure to companies when I am hired by their company or legal team as a consultant as a fast, easy way to raise big capital from the public otc)

 Pink Sheet: you can look at pink sheets as the Burger King, while the OTCBB is McDonalds, they are competing otc mechanisms. Pinks sheets are commonly referred to as penny stock and notorious for 'pump em' and dump em' controversies and a lot of crooked people are involved with this platform. This is not a long term process that will allow one's company to grow, pink sheets companies are typically short lived but it is cheap to set up but not a professional structure that could be upgraded in time to an IPO.

 Reverse Merger: a group funds the filing and creation of a public shell, they then sell that shell to a company that wants to go public, the established company merges it's entity into the public shell. The sellers retain around 30% equity after they charge an upfront fee of 300k to 1m. 99% of reverse mergers are successful with the merger, but unsuccessful to bring them to trade and the entity basically just fizzles out.

Taking your company public is actually quite simple and inexpensive when you have the right consultant putting the structure together for you. There are countless ways to raise capital quickly and easily. It's important that you understand your options before you waste time entering into the red tape infested banking system for a loan. - 23812

Wicked Broadway Musical Tickets

By Richie Stevenson

If you are looking for a nice musical to take your kids and whole family to, Wicked could just be the one that all of you could enjoy most. Wicked is a Broadway musical also being performed at the West End. In New York, it has gathered enough positive criticisms to get a Tony Award and prove its worth.

This musical is based on a novel written by Gregory Maguire entitled "Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West". This best-selling literature is actually written in parallel to the classical story entitled "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" by L. Frank Baum.

In the story, there are two witches, Elphaba, who will eventually become the wicked witch and Glinda, the supposedly good witch. These two witches became friends, although they have contrasting personalities and view points. Their friendship did suffer bumps and trials along the way of course. They do share one thing in common though - they both love the same guy.

The setting of the story happened before Dorothy arrived in Oz with the help of her ruby slippers. With that said, the audience could expect notable references, dialogues, and scenes in the equally popular "The Wizard of Oz" movie of 1939.

You need not see the story of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz to appreciate this show and its plot. But those who simply love the classical tale are very much invited to see who the wicked witch of Oz really is. While you may think that she's the person that made things miserable for the people at Emerald City, you might think differently about her after watching this entertaining Broadway show.

Before finding its way to New York, Wicked was first shown at the Curran Theatre in San Francisco. It debuted in May 2003 before being presented in Broadway five months after. The force behind this musical is none other than Universal Pictures and is under the direction of Joe Mantello. Musical staging credits go to Wayne Cilento.

In the US, Wicked is being shown not only in New York but in Los Angeles, St. Louis, and Chicago as well. It also has had a big opening in London, more particularly at the West End. A tour is also being held regularly, with the show already taken to Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, and Ohio, among others.

The main characters of the story, aside from the two witches are The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Madame Morrible, Fiyero, Nessarose, Boq, and Doctor Dillamond. Each one of these characters features a distinct singing voice in the play that makes the musical more entertaining and lively. The most popular numbers of the musical are "No One Mourns the Wicked", "Dear Old Shiz", "As Long as You're Mine", and "For Good", among others.

Kids and adults would surely love this show simply because it is a very good one. The tale is rich and eventful, with the musical rendition quite memorable. Take your whole family to enjoy the performance. It is truly going to be a night of entertainment for all of you. - 23812
