Most TV shows and movies can be watched on internet TV. You dont have to cancel Cable or Satellite subscriptions, but you could certainly cut back without compromising your viewing pleasure.

Lots of people are unaware that you view mostly any hit TV show, full episodes or Movies on your PC for no cost at all, apart from electricity and broadband charges. But as your PC uses very little electricity and your broadband is used for many other things. You are in effect getting it free.

To begin watching TV freely you need to know where to look. And we will show you where that is. Already many people are connecting laptops to their television sets via a video cable, whilst others are using their game console and other devices to view online TV.

Best places to find the online TV video streams

All TV shows, movies and even top sport are available to view. Using free TV networks or via a TV on demand paid services. Usually by visiting the networks Website (check out our catchup tv list) or an aggregator site such as Hulu.

Will it look ok?

Picture quality can ge ok, good or even great. It varies but most of the networks give great streaming speed and quality online. It may not quite match your HDTV output but is very watchable. And of course more and more high definition content is available too.

What about sports events?

If your a sports fan then here you may not be so happy. Although highlights of games are available from video websites, to watch the full match means heading down the P2P and torrents route. Which although works may have low quality and of course no one is sure how legal it is.

So shall i cancel my cable and satellite TV?

It may be a little too early to just cancel your subscriptions and throw out the TV just yet. Internet TV should be seen as a growing service that will get better and better. However it cannot yet totally replace what you can get on your cable or satellite TV deal.

What you can do however is cut down your subscriptions and go on the internet to view more TV and movies. It is after all going to be the future, so get watching online TV. - 23812
