Reading Music is Easier Than You Think! Piano Sheet Music

By Veronica Carrillo

The internet has changed the way guitar playing is taught. In the past they were all taught in music schools. However, online guitar lessons are now the popular craze. Why do people choose online lessons over those taught by traditional instructor led courses? There are various reasons to this change. The two popular reasons are the convenience and the cost factor.

Musically inclined students who desire to be professional musicians are more inclined to choose traditional instructor led guitar courses. They need the one to one guidance. They will not be able to get this privilege from online lessons.

Another way to improvise on the piano is to play a game I call "Finish the Melody." To do this, play one note. Then, let go of that note and play it again, followed by another note. Then let go again and play those two notes adding another note. Continue in this fashion until you can not remember all of your melody. Then start a new one. Maybe this melody starts on a new note. If you are a good singer, singing helps develop your melodies. So, sing.

Once you can do it at a slow pace, just keep doing it, until you are totally sick of it, just keep doing it, we are training our muscles the exact motions at a slow vibration level. Once our body adapts to this speed, we can then increase the BPM on our metronome a few clicks, and again do it perfectly for a long time, like 5 minutes. Set your goal to get up to 120BMP. I bet you within a short time, maybe 20-30 minutes you can be there, depending on your skill level.

Online guitar lessons are very flexible whereas the instructors are not. It is also very cheap. The complete online lessons normally cost what one hour of instructor led training would. The beauty of it is that you only pay a one time fee unlike those paid monthly to traditional instructor led guitar courses.

The other benefit of online guitar lessons is that they are very convenient. You do not have to travel away from your home to get guitar lessons. You can learn how to play guitar in your own home and at your own schedule. - 23812

Master An Essential Guitar Skill - Guitar Chords

By Jon J Tan

Guitar tutorials put a heavy emphasis on learning to play chords. Once the guitarist has learned to play chords a world of musical potential unfolds. When the beginning guitarist moves from single note play to those magical progressions, the guitar will open doors to all the music you have dreamt of playing.

You have spent hours of practice time working on your single notes. Now, your guitar tutorial will bring your skills together and show you how to form and play the chords that are so prevalent in today's music. You may even improvise a few new sounds yourself. Here are a few suggestions to mastering the chords.

Keep it simple

Learning to play the chords is a natural progression. The transition can seem laborious but with your ability to play singles notes well, you will be able to master simple chords by combining your notes.

Your guitar tutorial will encourage you to begin with easier chords, like A to E, G to A or D to G. By practicing these chords you will be learning to shape and form chords. When you have mastered these elementary chords, you will be ready to move on to more challenging combinations.

Stay positive

Even these elementary chords will take time to perfect. All beginning guitarists struggle with forming their first chords. During the transition from single notes to chords, you will be on the cusp of success many times before the light snaps on and the whole process begins to make sense.

Have no fear. It happens to everyone. Remember, practice is a fun time to learn and you are committed to learning something new every day. Have confidence in your practice routine and good things will happen. Stay positive, use your reference source and let the tutorial take you home.

See and feel the chords

Your tutorial will encourage you to visualize the finger movements related to the chords. Learn from your mistakes. When you err, see the location of your fingers and visualize where they should be to accomplish the chord. Soon that visualization will become reality. By developing your visualization skills, you will soon be able to play chords while blindfolded.

Playing chords will demand stronger fingers and force the guitarist to expand your reach. Your tutorial will show you exercises to accomplish these goals.

Master one chord at a time

As your rehearse, you will be tempted to attempt other chords. Stay with your original commitment to learn the easier chords first. Master one chord before moving to the next. While it may seem repetitive, you will be building a record of success and a new confidence level with each learned chord.

The root note is the base note of each chord. You must clearly identify your starting point and consistently launch the chord from that root note. Always, start at the beginning.

Let your guitar tutorial show you the way

Learning and visualizing the chords is greatly enhanced by referring to the diagrammed movements in the guitar tutorial. This process is aided by listening to the chord on which you are working. Let your tutorial help build the audio and visual senses that shape the chords and you will be on your way to guitar and chord success. - 23812

Green Screen Hollywood - Steps to Building

By Phil Guye

Indie filmmakers don't have a strong need to compromise the standard of their art by having sloppy-looking shots all due to the shortage of green screen or "Chroma Key" technology. Hiring a studio that houses one is extraordinarily costly and since independent filmmakers are on a little humble small budget and always on a tight schedule, it may be nice if Chroma Key technology screens might be available and prepared anytime, anywhere. Fortunately , transportable Chroma Key screens can be made. There isn't a need to shell out cash solely to have green screen Hollywood technology. Making a green screen that's perfect for travel and cost cutting is as straightforward as one, two, and three.

First, prepare all the required materials for the green screen. This consists of 2 PVC pipes, pipe connectors, clamps, end caps, and naturally, green fabric or green paint. Also make efforts to have safety necessities,e.g. eye spectacles. 2nd, make attempts to cut two PVC pipes. They need to be the perfect height for the green screen. Do not forget to cut the PVC pipes correctly ; there should be no pointed edges or cracks. Sloppy cutting of the PVC pipes might decrease the sturdiness of the final product. Use caution when cutting the pipe--- waste might get into your eyes, so it's best to wear glasses while building the cartable screen.

Third, cut each one of the pipes in half and place a pipe connector in the middle of every one. Having the connectors will make the green screen easy to carry about. Again, always make attempts to be safe when cutting the pipes. 4th, to have movable green screen Hollywood technology, take another pipe and cut them into to equal quantities. They should be roughly 4 to six inches shorter than the particular width of the green fabric. To explain, a fabric with a 50 in. width must have pipes that are 44 or 46 inches.

5th, build a stand for the transportable green screen. Cut the last PVC pipe into four parts. They should all have equivalent lengths. Connect two pieces of the PVC pipe with a pipe connector. Repeat this step for the remaining pipes. Make efforts to put end caps at the end of all the PVC pipes. 6th, cut two six-inch parts from the leftover PVC pipe and use them as spacers at the base of the finished frame. Join it to the pipe connector.

7th, assemble the parts. Use glue to secure the pipe connectors to one section of the PVC pipe so that they'll be prepared for travel. Make efforts to apply glue properly so no parts will fall off during transit. Ultimately, get the clamps and attach the green fabric to the top sides of the frame. Put the fabric properly so it will fall nicely. There should not be any creases when the fabric hangs. Now, even the indie filmmaker can use green screen Hollywood technology. A cartable Chroma Key screen is another tool that will help a low budget flick gets higher quality. - 23812

G.I Joe: The Rise of Cobra - The Biggest Hit of The Year.

By Saisha Jones

Have you been a G.I JOE fan all along? Were you anticipating yet another G.I JOE movie with all the action & the adventure?

You will be happy to know that the most awaited film of the year is back with a bang. Directed by Stephen Sommers (The Mummy, Van Helsing), G.I. JOE: The Rise of Cobra stars an interesting young cast including Sienna Miller (Factory Girl), Channing Tatum (Public Enemies), Joseph Gordon-Levitt ((500) Days of Summer), Marlon Wayans (Dance Flick), Rachel Nichols ("Alias") and Ray Park (X-Men) as well as veteran actors Dennis Quaid (Vantage Point) and Christopher Eccleston (Gone in Sixty Seconds).

G.I Joe: The Rise of Cobra is a 2009 American live-action film adaptation of the G.I. Joe toy franchise, the story follows two American soldiers, Duke and Ripcord, who join the G.I. Joe Team after being attacked by MARS troops. Filming took place in Downey, California and Prague's Barrandov Studios, and six different companies handled the visual effects.

In the beginning of the plot of the movie the Scotsman Klan McCullen is accused of selling weaponry to both the Scots and French. Rather than being executed for treason, the jury brands his face with a white-hot mask in order to humiliate him. A nanotechnology-based weapon capable of destroying an entire city is created by weapons expert James McCullen (Christopher Eccleston) in the near future. His company MARS sells four warheads to NATO, and the U.S. Army is tasked with delivering the warheads. Duke (Channing Tatum) and Ripcord (Marlon Wayans) are delivering the warheads when they are ambushed by the Baroness (Sienna Miller), who Duke recognized to be his ex-fiance Ana Lewis. Duke and Ripcord are rescued by Scarlett (Rachel Nichols), Snake Eyes (Ray Park) and Heavy Duty (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje). The warheads are taken to The Pit, G.I. Joe's command center in North Africa, and upon arriving rendezvous with General Hawk (Dennis Quaid), the head of the G.I. Joe Team. Hawk takes command of the war-heads and excuses Duke and Ripcord, only to be convinced to have them join his group after it is revealed that Duke & Baroness know each other.

In a high stakes pursuit of COBRA, an evil international organization threatening to use a technology that could bring the world to its knees, the G.I. Joe team travels the world from the Egyptian desert to the polar ice caps and the streets of Paris armed with the coolest hi-tech gadgets and weapons, including camouflage suits and jaw-dropping accelerator, G.I. JOE is the last line of defense against those intent on world domination.

The filming of this movie began on February 11, 2008, in Los Angeles, California. The Downey sound-stage was chosen as Paramount needed a large stage to get production underway as soon as possible. Downey also housed Destro's MARS base in the Arctic, his legitimate weapons factory in an ex-Soviet state, as well as various submarines interiors, including a SHARC (Submersible High-speed Attack and Reconnaissance Craft) manned by two G.I. Joes. The first two levels of the Pit were built there, to complement the rest of the building which would be done with special effects.

Digital Domain which handled the Paris action, sequences and the opening convoy sequence was the most prominent of the six different visual effects companies who worked in The Rise of Cobra. For the Eiffel Tower destruction, a special code for depicting how the crumbling metal works was written. The technicians had access to the original building plans, and built a digital model so complex that could not fit in a single file to create the digital Eiffel Tower. The nanomites used two different proprietary software for their depiction, one by Digital Domain, and another by, which also created tools to generate 3D cloud and sky environments for the aerial scenes. The landing platform of the Pit, the Cobra ice caverns, and the final underwater battle were the scenarios which were almost fully developed by computer-generated imagery.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is a mind-blowing movie with all the latest effects & adventures. G.I JOE was the biggest hit which ruled the box office for years & its sequel is creating a widespread craze all over. - 23812
