Ipod Car Accessories That Can Handle Various Ipods

By Max Groom

An Apple iPod can be used on the go even when one is in the car. This is thanks to some of the various iPod car accessories that can be used. These can be used to get an iPod to be heard through a car's speakers. They can even work for charging the iPod or handling it.

One of the most valuable accessories to use is an FM transmitter. It works to help with connecting an iPod to an electrical outlet used in a car. This transmitter attaches to the iPod through its microphone outlet. An FM frequency is set up through the transmitter to help with getting the iPod to be heard. As a result of this the iPod can be heard through an unused FM frequency in one's area.

Getting this accessory to be controlled can be easy to do. A digital display can work on many of these transmitters for setting up a proper frequency. After this frequency is set up the radio can be tuned to it so that the iPod can be heard.

For those who are going on longer car trips it helps to use a car charger. This works in that it plugs into the iPod's battery jack and the car's electrical outlet. When this happens the battery will be charged. It can even work along with its own FM transmitter.

A good iPod holder is always helpful for this device in a car. An iPod holder can work by mounting to a dashboard through the use of an adhesive surface. It can also clip onto an A/C vent. Each type of holder will work with different materials for attaching itself to a car.

No matter what type of accessory is used it will help to see what accessories work with certain models. IPods of different generations can handle different accessories. Some iPods that are smaller in size like the Shuffle or Nano may need their own accessories. Some accessories can work with the iPhone.

These are all iPod car accessories that can be great for any vehicle to use. They can help with getting an iPod to be used in a car. They can also work with different types of iPod systems. All of these are useful for anyone who wants to use an iPod when on the road. - 23812

Who is the Decade's Most Important Musical Group

By Matthew Busch

It seems like the decade was just beginning. I can remember witnessing the transformation from alternative rock to indie music as the preferred genre for so many fans, and boy, was it exciting. Since the decade is winding down now, I'd like to take a few minutes to honor the bands that I believe to be the best of the decade.

In doing this, I'd like to narrow it down to five before choosing one in my mind whose influence and body of work was stronger than any other. There's no right answer to this, as it's all a matter of personal tastes.

I can remember the impact that the White Stripes had at the beginning of the decade. Their music sounded much more like Zeppelin than Nirvana, and it was refreshing to hear some new bands with the classic rock influences that I love.

This marked the beginning of a musical era that placed an emphasis on classic rock and the many great bands whose pure rock paved the way. With a handful of releases throughout the decade, the White Stripes definitely make my list.

Another obvious contender is Radiohead. While the band became very popular during the previous decade, they became even more well respected during the past ten years.

Each Radiohead album has been a unique experience, with innovation being the key factor here. Radiohead sounds absolutely nothing like the band did in the 1990s, and critics and fans have enjoyed every bit of the band's music.

While the White Stripes and Radiohead have been hugely successful, Wilco has enjoyed its own success on just as large a scale. This band has produced a wealth of great music during the decade, and its story is just as interesting.

Making the decision to drop its record label when they rejected Wilco's version of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot was an integral point in the indie rock movement, and Wilco's music has been some of the best of the decade.

Having said all that, it's a tough decision but I think I'll go with Wilco here. - 23812
