How To Start Playing

Playing the guitar can be an entertaining and satisfying experience. There's nothing better than performing in front of your friends and family by playing their favorite guitar songs. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to learn guitar for beginners especially if you don't have anyone to teach you. It takes time to master the guitar, and if you get frustrated easily, you may quit before you are able to play anything worthwhile.

To learn the guitar requires you to master the fundamentals. First off, you will need to figure out how to tune your guitar, otherwise every note you play will sound terrible. Without tuning your guitar on a regular basis, the strings will become stretched and sound distorted. The standard tuning for a guitar is E-A-D-G-B-E. While there are other tuning you can use, it is a good idea learn this one first.

Once your guitar is in tune, you can start playing some notes with it. To play a note, take one of the strings, and press down on it on one of the frets with one finger, and pluck at the string with your other hand. Experiment with different frets on the same string. Congrats, you can now play different notes with your guitar.

Now that you are able to play a few notes, the next step is to learn to play some basic chords. Looking at a standard guitar chord chart, try to find a few chords that you can play. It will take some time to train your fingers to play chords properly, but don't get frustrated. You will get the hang of them, and eventually you will be able to transition between different chords effortlessly.

After you have gotten your chords down, try to find some beginning guitar songs to play. Nothing will get you more excited about playing the guitar than being able to play your first song. To start, we are going to look for some guitar tabs to play. Guitar tabs allow you to play songs without the ability to read sheet music and you can find guitar tabs for almost any song out there. The tabs are basically a picture that shows the 6 guitar strings along with numbers that represent the fret you should hold down for each note. What you should do is just pick an easy song to try and go over it until it becomes second nature for you to play. Take your time, and you will be playing the song in no time. The Relationships In The Sookie Stackhouse Series True Blood Season 2

Season 2 and True Blood is maturing nicely - some new characters introduced, while others are blossoming. Some relationships are evolving, such as Bill and Sookie Stackhouse', while others like Jessica and Hoyt's are beginning a-fresh and keeping us all interested and excited.

The question may well be though, where are these relationships headed and where are they taking us - the viewer? We need to have a little bit of an idea so we keep on watching. So, let's have a quick look - a recap really - and see whats going on with some of the key relationships in small town Bon Temps, Louisiana... shall we.

Unfortunately, Tara's past makes it very likely that she will continue on with Eggs, regardless she keeps trying to stop with him. But you gotta think he is up to no good and he is kinda dangerous too. Is creepy Maryann in control of him or something? Or is he actually even more devious than she is??

Daphne and Sam: all is probably not what it would appear with Daphne. Even though she started out as this rather pathetic type of character, with those deep gashes she had on her back, it certainly makes you wonder about her. Is she connected in any way to that creature thing that attacked Sookie in the first part of this season? Is she just flirting with Sam's emotions and taking him for a ride? Hmmm I wonder...

Terry and Arlene: he's kinda weird and all, being a war veteran who likes to sniff Arlene's hair when she's not aware - a bit fetishy really. Although they are not together quite yet, they will get together but I am thinking there is going to be more to come from them in the near future.

Jessica and Hoyt: sweeeeeet! Oh so sweeeeet! This is love as it should be - innocent and real and cute and cuddly, and just plain loving. Ahhh... to be in love again.... how nice! Jessica now being so much in love with Hoyt is bound to be on the right track again and catching up on lost, wayward, time.

Jason and Sarah: Jason Stackhouse, ever the guy to get in a pickle because of his stupidity, or if you will prefer - naivety. The sooner he gets out of the Jesus Camp the better. And this relationship with Sarah - is it going any place in the longer term?

Sookie and Bill: well, you gotta admit it, like a typical loving couple, really. Always fighting and getting back together again. How long can this sort of behavior last though? Is it not getting a bit tiring and all? I suppose there are many of us in the "real" world who can really relate to their partnership so I will not critique further.
