Looking To Download Angels and Demons?

By Jack Simmons

If you ever saw the movie the Da Vinci Code, you'll know exactly how a good tense thriller should be written. The movie, adapted from Dan Brown's, book was a huge success back in 2006. The next film in the series, Angels & Demons, is showing all the promise of being one of this years most watched movies at the cinema.

In Angels & Demons we again find the Harvard University religious expert Robert Langdon struggling against fierce enemies who are intent on destroying the Catholic Church. This time Langdon finds himself in the middle of a resurgent ancient organization who will go to any lengths to achieve their rotten ends.

What would a thriller be without a beautiful side kick, and Angels & Demons scores well here. Langdon is ably assisted by Vittoria Vetra a stunning Italian scientist. With her help, Langdon sets out to resist the seemingly irresistible forces of evil that confronts them. I've found a couple of links already, so I for one can't wait to watch Angels and Demons movie free as soon as possible.

Rome is the setting for most of this movie and sees Langdon and the gorgeous Vittoria work frantically in a desperate effort to save the Vatican from extinction by its centuries old enemy the Illuminati. The pace of this movie will keep the average film goer enthralled and enraptured through out the whole film.

The movie is brought to us by the original team who made the Da Vinci Code. Director Ron Howard is back to his best as is Tom Hanks. Ewan McGregor, Ayelet Zurer, Stellan Skarsgard, Pierfrancesco Favino, Nikolaj Lie Kaas, and Armin Mueller-Stahl make up the other notable members of the cast.

This new film is out in movie theaters on the 15th May 2009, but I've already seen a few links for it on the Internet. Some forums are already buzzing with chatter from the Dan Brown fans who can't wait for the release day to come. The word on the street is that they will not be disappointed with the quality of this one. - 23812

Metallica Rocks Again

By Patrick Daniels

Most Metallica fans look forward to each new release, as they've been successful with just a couple of negatives. The majority of releases have been applauded, the last release, St. Anger, was not so successful. This was due to the band trying some new ways of making music which caused a little directional problem. The fans weren't pleased but it wasn't a bad album. They were experimenting for themselves which isn't a bad thing for musicians to try on occasion.

So there was great anticipation for this next album, Death Magnetic. This seems to be a sound more similar to the distant past, the heavy metal sound, and with good songs. This doesn't mean that they lead the heavy metal sound but their impact has not diminished much, and this album is testament to their ability to be relevant.

The heavy metal scene has changed since the late eighties and early nineties and the band was more of a hard rock band through the nineties. I would not put them in the same category as new metal and even the heavy metal of the newest bands. I would say that there are some good songs on this album that could fit in with any of their back catalog. There are four or five songs that would have fit on any of the past albums and are as good as anything else out there.

Unfortunately, Metallica will probably never reach the height of their first four releases, however, there are a lot of really good groups out there that fall in the same category. Most of the Rolling Stone hits were in the seventies. Their music since then has still been good but it's just not what it was then.

There are only a couple of bands that can keep putting out hit after hit until the band breaks up, but most bands don't stick together into their forties and fifties and still stay relevant. You have to admire a band that can still be relevant and popular after so long. Metallica is in a class that very few bands other than the Stones, Aerosmith and a select few others have reached. - 23812
