Most of the things in the movie are brilliantly portrayed, the time frame, the robots, the transformation, and the story too. Even though the story is little it does fit into the movie pretty well. Criticism doesnt affect Michael Bay, he does what he likes to do " direct the best, out of the world action scenes that look totally flawless.

The story is somewhere there between the warring gigantic robots. Like mentioned earlier, the story is not the focal point of the movie, and we are willing to respect that considering the incredible action we get to see. When compared to the original, there are more robots in the movie and more fight scenes between them. This makes you feel the Transformers are actually part of nature and not a distant entity like in the first movie.

When you look at the acting side, no one really gives an award winning performance but they have all done a decent job nonetheless. Megan Fox looked as sexy as ever while Tyrese and Josh Duhamel looked like they had to force themselves into voicing out their dialogues. Michael Bay always had a love for these slow motion scenes but this is the first time he brings in more slow motion scenes especially when Megan Fox runs in some of the fight sequences, but it was wonderfully satisfying. Shia, who acts like the half hero and half confused college kid, is given a responsibility to save the world, and he does a commendable job at that.
