Legal Music Download Sites Are The New Thing

By Kareechy Ken

You have several cabinets full of old music discs. You have quite possibly one of the largest collections by any one person in the world. You are sitting in a restaurant one day though and a song comes on that reminds you of something special. You eventually find out the song title and go digging through your collection to find that it is not there. You look up the rest of the album and realize you've heard all the songs on it but only like that one. Is there a a series of legal music download sites that one could go to to find that song they have been wanting to hear?

Is it truly legal to download music from these sites? Won't the FBI be coming and breaking my door down?

Music download sites are a great way to find some new tunes. For a very reasonable price one could download a song to their computer. You could even by the album if you feel like you want it!

Making the choice to download music from a site is one of the best possible decisions you could make! Who needs to go to the store to buy a CD anymore? Why can't you just go to a site and in one click have that song you've been waiting for? The variety of different songs is very extensive as well. They are great because they are a fast and cheap way to get music! What could be better than something being both fast and cheap?

It would be best to check to see if a site is legitimate as well. If it's free be a little suspicious.

That is all there is to it to legal music download sites. - 23812

The Beatles Books - The Top Books About The Most Popular Band Of All Time

By Franklin David Quesenberry

There are a lot of books about The Beatles and I've read a great many of them. Of course a lot of those books are less than excellent and I can't really recommend them. On the other hand there are some Beatles books that I definitely do recommend reading, and those are the books I'm including in this article.

The Beatles Anthology - This "coffee table book" is an essential part of every Beatles fans library. It's loaded with great first hand accounts of The Beatles history (told by John, Paul, George, & Ringo themselves) and a lot of awesome pictures.

The Beatles Complete Scores - The music for every Beatles song. It includes every part of the music including the vocals, the guitars, the bass, the drums, and any keyboards. It also includes guitar notation for guitar and bass guitar.

Many Years From Now - Too often the focus on The Beatles is on John Lennon. While I love Lennon as much as anyone else, I think McCartney's perspective is far too often overlooked. This book is The Beatles story as told by Paul.

Revolution In The Head - Includes an opinion piece on every Beatles song released (including the songs first released on Anthology like "What's The New Mary Jane?") While I don't always agree with the opinions in this book, they are still quite interesting. Plus, there's also a lot of factual information on each song that makes it a handy resource.

The Beatles As Musicians - This two book series is definitely the most detailed analysis of The Beatles songs that is available anywhere. But I should warn you: This book is only for those who are interested in music theory.

Lennon Revealed - There are a boatload of books about John Lennon's life and I've read quite a few of them. But the only one I can actually remember is Lennon Revealed. I think it's because it was the one that most made John seem like a real person rather than some mythological creation.

Here, There, & Everywhere: My Life Recording The Beatles - This is possibly the most revealing book about The Beatles actual recording sessions I've ever read. I never felt more like I was actually in the studio with the band than I did when reading this book. Fascinating. - 23812
