The Best Xbox 360 Games

Searching for an Xbox 360 game can be a little bit tough, because of the amount of titles that are piled on retail shelves daily. The reason there are so many titles on the shelf for Xbox is because they were the pioneer of the seventh generation gaming consoles that were released. The newest games that come out for the Xbox 360 are almost $60 no matter what the title is. So instead of going out and blowing your money on a cool game that looks awesome on the box, you should consider these titles.

Gears Of War 2 was one of the most highly anticipated games of the year. It was this highly anticipated because of the games phenomenal games of the year, because of the crazy good graphics, high speed game play, and single and multi-player action. This is a must have game for warfare buffs, and definitely well worth the money.

Another great open-ended game is Grand Theft Auto IV which has been one of the most highly anticipated games for 2008. It has won several "Game of the Year" awards for its lasting gameplay and excellent presentation. Xbox 360 owners are lucky that they can enjoy more of the game by downloading additional episodes from Xbox Live. Currently there is one extra episode with a second one to be released later this year.

Looking for the "World's Scariest Game"? Look no further than Dead Space. Dead Space is a very dark and thrilling game that will keep you on the edge of you seat with a third-person shooter, leaving no room to be bored.

Evolved 2 is the next game listed here for people not wanting to spend $60 on a video game. This game was given high levels of commendation as the best Xbox Live arcade game on the market at the time it was released to the public. Because it is an Xbox Live arcade title you can pick up for a bit less than a normal brand new game.

One of the best games to hit the stands this year was Grand Theft Auto IV. GTA IV won several awards last year from notable internet review sites. Not only was it one of the most highly anticipated games for Xbox but also was one of the most contested, due to its graphic nature. It comes with one extra episode that you can download on Xbox Live for more game play.

Although a bit more expensive than most of the Xbox Live games out there Braid is a great one to have. This is a puzzle game that will stimulate your mind, and make you think a little bit in a fun fashion. The musical score and the story line were very highly recommended and will make your gaming experience one to remember.

Making sure that you know what you are looking for in a game will help you tremendously to find a game that will satisfy your gaming needs. Remastered CDs & New Rock Band Game: 09/09/09 Is The Day Beatles Fans Have Been Waiting For

The Holidays come early for Beatles lovers this year. 9/9/9 is the day when the new remastered Beatles CDs finally come out after wait of 22 years.

The Beatles first released their albums on CD in the 1980s when CD technology was still pretty new. The mastering done for those CD is considered to be of inferior quality, which is why Beatles fans have been impatiently waiting for these new remastered CDs.

The remastered CDs are not the only Beatles stuff coming out on 9/9/9, there's also the original mono mixes of their albums through 1968's The White Album being released on CD.

This will be the first time ever that the original mono mixes of all of The Beatles albums (at least those that had an original mono mix) are going to be released on CD.

Mono was being phased out way back in the 1960s, so why should we listen to mono mixes in 2009? This is an understandable view but if you think of these mixes as being the originally intended mixes, it's interesting to hear them.

Mono was the standard at the time and because of that The Beatles spent a lot more time on the mono mixes than they did on the stereo mixes. In fact the stereo mixes were thrown together rather hastily in comparison.

Because so much more time was spent on the mono versions, it makes sense to consider the mono mixes to be the "real" versions of the albums. But it's not just a matter of original intention. It's also a matter of quality. Some claim that the mono mixes of albums such as Revolver & Sgt. Pepper are actually far superior to the stereo mixes.

But new CDs are not the only Beatles gear coming out on September 9th, there's also the new Beatles Rock Band game. It looks like a lot of fun.

The graphics and game play look really awesome from the previews I've seen. Even if you're not a big video game person, I'd give the Beatles Rock Band a try if you're a fan of the band. It promises to be great fun. - 23812
