Nickelback announced 2009 Concert Tour. In support of their new album, nickelback has recently appeared on Jay Leno. Critics and fans alike are praising Dark Horse. True Blood Looking Red Hot for Profits With Season 2

True Blood Season 2, the Sookie Stackhouse series, has hit a home run in its first episode by pulling in great viewer numbers " second to only the finale of the Sopranos which was shown some 2 years previously. The pay cable network company Home Box Office (HBO) are obviously delighted having attracted over 3.7 million for the initial showing on June 14th and then a further 1.4 million for the second which was screened later that night.

Almost three quarters of a million copies of the Season 1 DVD of True Blood were sold within its first 2 weeks of being on sale, which equated to a total of around $26 million and at the same time it was to become one of the most popular of iTunes downloads, so the potential for the show is without doubt.

Due to the fact that the HBO network actually produce and own the serial True Blood the lions share of those sales will flow back to the purses of HBO, much to their absolute satisfaction.

The average episode to be screened on HBO of any serial amounts to costs of around $2 million.
