Millions of families visit Orlando each year to experience a week at the Disney parks. After a few days of long lines and crowds, however, many will need a break. At Universal Studios, parents should start their visit in the Woody Woodpecker KidZone, an area of the park full of rides and shows for the youngest members of your group. There is the Nuthouse Coaster, where parents can take their children on a gentle roller coaster ride. Nearby is E.T. Adventure, where riders board bicycles and travel with E.T, through the forest. Kids will love the Curious George water play area, with plenty of chances to cool off.

Another kids favorite is the Jimmy Neutron Nicktoons Blast, a 4-D show with plenty of appearances by your favorite Nickelodeon stars. Guests of all ages will love zapping aliens on the Men in Black ride, and fans of the Shrek movies will love the Shrek 4-D show, featuring some amazing special effects.

Next, head next door to Islands of Adventure, Universal Resort's newest theme park. Kids will love the Seuss Landing area, with a water play zone, a magical carousel, and plenty of kid-friendly rides. Nearby, families can wander through the Jurassic Park region, where kids can dig for dinosaur bones, ride a gentle coaster, and ride the Jurassic Park River Adventure, a dinosaur themed boat ride ending in a big splash.

Finally, check out the water rides in Toon Lagoon. Theres an elaborately themed log flume ride as well as a white water rafting family ride. Kids can play on Popeyes ship, featuring interactive fountains and play areas.

The main story isn't as compelling as I would have hoped in such a big budget, high profile game, but it is serviceable and passable.
