Lindsay Lohan in the News
Lindsay has been in showbiz since she was 3. You would think that she would be use to the pressure by now. Ever since she was legal to drink, is seems her world is spiraling downward.
Lindsay was born in the city of New York and first appeared on television as a Ford model. She went on to make television appearances on over 60 commercials. And in 1996, she made her first real debut on the series "Another World".
Lindsay starred in the movie "The Parent Trap" in 1998 which was a remake of the old version. In 2003, she starred in another film that really skyrocketed her career and Lindsay made the decision to move to Los Angeles.
Lindsay liked the boys and it didn't take her long to pick a fight with Hillary Duff over heartthrob Aaron Carter. And later in 2004, Lindsay got into another feud with the Simpson sisters over Wilmer Valderrama from That 70's Show.
Lindsay began losing weight in the early part of 2005. She later admitted that she had an eating disorder and was bulimic. She then appeared in Mean Girls and took her career to the next level.
Lindsay was in two car crashes in 2005, which was apparently caused by the paparazzi. In 2006 Lindsay was told that she was being unprofessional for showing up to work late a couple of times. While back in New York, Lindsay broke her wrist while clubbing with friends.
Finally in December 2006 Lindsay began attending AA meetings after much criticism from the public. In 2007, Lindsay was arrested twice on drunk driving charges and sentenced to jail for 1 day, community service order and an 18 month alcohol education program.
Lindsay has been keeping a low profile lately and trying to keep busy filming her new movie "Labor Pains." Lindsay has been through a lot and hopefully she has learned the hard to discipline herself. - 23812
