The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Captivating premise of assembling infamous 19th century fictional characters, from Dr. Jekyll and Dorian Gray to Dracula's Mina Harker, whose assorted qualities combine to start a sort of Due process Group. The film is undone by lumpy storytelling, badly orchestrated action, and outsized, cartoonish visual effect patterns. Connery is charismatic as ever playing Allan Quatennain. Cast includes Sean Connery, Shane West, Stuart Townsend, Naseeruddin Shah, Richard Roxburgh, Peta Wilson, Tony Curran, Jason Fleming, David Hemmings, and Max Ryan. (110 minutes, 2003)

A Bug's Life: Great energized characteristic from Pixar office of Toy Tale popularity, in reference to a well meaning ant identified Flick who tries to help his beleaguered colony from the pillaging of Basket and his grasshopper cronies. Meaning to employ hard insects to quarrel them off, he unwittingly initiates a carnival troupe as an alternative! Dependably witty and ludicrous; actually, spilling with gags and graphic notions. Cast includes Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Kevin Spacey, Phyllis Diller, David Hyde Perforate, Denis Leary, Richard Kind, Madeline Kahn, Bonnie Seek, Edie McClurg, and Alex Rocco. (94 minutes, 1998)

Night of the Juggler: A psycho mistakenly abducts the baby girl of an ex-cop Brolin, who then leads a city-wide rampage to get her back. Quick-paced although wildly doubtful film colors a notably gross picture of N.Y.C. and its individuals. Cast includes James Brolin, Cliff Gorman, Richard Castellano, Abby Bluestone, and Mandy Patinkin. (101 minutes, 1980)

Promises Promises: Horrible comedy in regards to twosomes Mansfield-Noonan and McDonald-Hargitay, and their sensual shenanigans on a voyage. It is famous in its night for Jayne's baring her body, a first for its time. Still, take heed: it is a genuinely poor film. Cast includes Jayne Mansfield, Marie McDonald, Tommy Noonan, Mickey Hargitay, Fritz Feld, Matjorie Bennett, and Imogene Coca. (75 minutes, 1963)

Haiku Tunnel: Tiny, fitfully entertaining film in reference to a provisional office employee and the battle between "temps" and "perms." Leading performer-controller Josh additionally co-wrote the screenplay. Cast includes Josh Kornbluth, Warren Keith, Helen Shumaker, Amy Resnick, Brian Thorstenson, Sarah Overman, and Harry Shearer. (90 minutes, 2001)

Kind Lady: Scary little chiller in regards to a ladylike older female Barrymore who is victimized by a charmer. Evans takes over her home-and her life. Wynn is specifically powerful as a thug and butler. Co-scripted by Edward Chodorov and based on his play; Cast includes Ethel Barrymore, Maurice Evans, Angela Lansbury, Betsy Blair, Keenan Wynn, John Williams, and Doris Lloyd. (78 minutes, 1951)

Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein: Count Dracula, played by Bela Lugosi, is going to put Lou Costello's brain inside of Frankenstein's head. The werewolf, played by Lon Chaney Jr. is trying to warn Abbott and Costello of their plight. This is an absolute classic Abbott and Costello film. Lon Chaney Jr., Bela Lugosi, Bud Abbott, and Lou Costello are the stars. (1948 Comedy-Horror)

Jerry Maguire: Jerry is an agent for a top Sports Management group. When he is fired, he expects his client to come along with him as he sets out on his own. All of a sudden Jerry realizes that he has no true friends in this cutthroat, dog eat dog, business. Down to one client and one assistant, Jerry fights to build himself a business.

Airport: Weak, later Laurel and Hardy comedy. One conceivably excellent scene with dull-burn master Kennedy doesn't meet anticipations. Cast includes Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy, Edgar Kennedy, Jacqueline White, Horace Stephen McNally, and Donald Modest. (67 minutes, 1943)
