By Kelsey Farley

One of the most excellent and most inexpensive forms of entertainment is viewing a show that you can enjoy in the retreat of your own dwelling. At present there are many options to discover the film that you want to observe, you can go to a video store, enroll in a mail service or almost certainly the finest option so far is to download the movie right on your computer.

Sugar Town - Amusing mosaic of LA life characterizing a handful of characters whose lives merge - a musician hopeful who will do anything to get ahead, an uptight lone lady who allures the unsuitable men like a magnet, and a band made up of cleaned-up '80s rock megastars, to name a few. Made on a shoestring, although sharp and well recognized; outstanding cast comprises a number of real life musicians. Cast includes Ally Sheedy, Rosanna Arquette, John Taylor, Jade Gordon, Michael Des Barres, Lucinda Jenney, and Martin Kemp. (92 minutes, 1999)

Ivan the Terrible - Continuation of the legend of King Ivan IV, in which he takes on the boyars in a conflict for power. Remarkable film is just a trace underneath its predecessor, Banned by Stalin due to controversial illustration of Ivan's secret patrol, and not released till 1958. Cast includes Nikolai Cherkassov; Serafima Birman, Mikhail Nazvanov, Pavel Kadochnikov, and Andrei Abrikosov. (88 minutes, 1946)

Richard's Things - Widow Ullmann is seduced by her now deceased spouse's lady friend. Screenplay by Frederic Raphael based on his novel. Cast includes Liv Ullmann, Amanda Redman, Tim Smith, Elizabeth Spriggs, and David Markha. (104 minutes, 1980)

The Beverly Hillbillies - This is a movie based on the 1960's TV series. When Jed Clampett by chance finds oil on his rural land in Arkansas, he becomes an instant millionaire. He brings the whole Clampett kin out to Beverly Hills. Being simple country folk they are victim to every money hungry con artist in the big city.

Live Flesh - Obsessed child of a prostitute is jailed for accidentally shooting and paralyzing a cop. Original account of teenager's blunder that takes him to prison. Spanish language. Cinematically stimulating, albeit, with a bravura finale. Cast includes Pedro Almodovar, Liberto Rabal, Francesca Neri, Javier Bardem, Angela Molina, Jose Sancho, and Penelope Cruz. (100 minutes, 1997)

The All-American Boy - Cluttered drama in reference to Olympic hopeful Voight's endeavor to be a triumphant boxer; striking locations of northern California, but that's all. Cast includes Jon Voight, Ned Glass, Anne Archer, and Carol Androsky. (104 minutes, 1989)

Red Sun - East meets West in this outlandish saga of a samurai fighter chasing a costly Japanese sword stolen from a train crossing the American West. Cast includes Charles Bronson, Ursula Andress, Toshiro Mifune, Alain Delon, and Capucine. (112 minutes, 1972)

Belles on Their Toes - Here, Myrna Loy plays a widowed architect who will struggle to rear her aging brood. 20th Century Fox back lot seen at its best in recreating early 1900s America. Clifton Webb makes a succinct appearance at the climax. Cast includes Myrna Loy, Jeanne Crain, Debra Paget, Jeffrey Hunter, Edward Arnold, Hoagy Carmichael, Barbara Bates, Robert Arthur, Verna Felton, and Martin Milner. (89 minutes, 1952)

Jack of Diamonds - Hamilton plays a cat burglar who steals gems from Baker, Gabor, and Palmer, who are "special guests" in this motion picture. Bypass this one and wait for "To Catch a Robber" to be shown. Cast includes George Hamilton, Joseph Cotten, Marie Laforet, Maurice Evans, Carroll Baker, Zsa Zsa Gabor, and Lilli Palmer. (67 minutes, 1967)
