Remarkable film is just a shade underneath its predecessor, Restricted by Stalin due to controversial illustration of Ivan's secret patrol, and not released till'58. Black like Me: Influential drama based on actual history of a reporter who took drugs that allowed him to pass for black so he might undergo racial prejudice first hand. Some aspects of presentation are outdated, although topics are still significant. Cast includes James Whitmore, Roscoe Lee Browne, Lenka Petersen, Sorrell Booke, Will Geer, Al Freeman, and Raymond Jacques. (107 minutes,'64)
