The dubbing here is normally a negative, yet in a lark like this it seriously doesn't matter. The movie is basically a nonstop action film showcasing Chan's martial arts skills. Damon is phenomenal and a well selected cast fills all the roles very well. Cast includes Matt Damon, Angelina Jolie, Alec Baldwin, Tammy Blanchard, Billy Crudup, Robert De Niro, and John Turturro. Mystic River: Friends since their youth Dave, Jimmy, and Sean have a secret they have kept. Dave was kidnapped and sexually assaulted for days. Now in their adult live Jimmies 19 year old daughter has been murdered. Lots of evidence points toward Dave as the killer. Is Dave the killer?
The Lawnmower Man: Jobe is retarded. He lives the simple life of mowing lawns. Dr. Lawrence Angelo wants to see if he can develop intelligence artificially. With some drugs, and a connection to virtual learning through a super computer, Jobe starts learning at an incredible rate. The question is, what are the consequences?
Delirious: An astonishingly foolish comedy with a nice premise. A beleaguered soap opera author gets a conk on the head and fantasizes that he's living in his own story in a heroic role that allows him to have his way with the lady he worships in the real word. Cast includes John Candy, Mariel Hemingway, Emma Samms, David Rasche, Charles Rocket, Raymond Burr, and Dylan Baker. (96 minutes, 1991)
Hired-To-Kill: A Mercenary poses as a gay clothes maker to spring insurgent leader 'Ferrer' from a Latin American jail. His commando squad with six attractive ladies posing as models is impressive. Well generated, although awesomely stupid. Cast includes Nico Mastorakis, Peter Rader. Brian Thompson, Oliver Reed, George Kennedy, Jose Ferrer, Michelle Moffett, Barbara Lee Alexander, Jordana Capra, Kendall Conrad, Kim Lonsdale, Jude Mussetter, and Penelope Reed. (91 minutes, 1990)
