Pet Sematary: The Creed family has moved to a nice country village. When their cat is hit by a car and killed, one of the local neighbors shows them an isolated place behind the pet cemetery to bury the cat. A few days later the cat is back, but wild and aggressive. When their son dies from a fatal accident, they choose the same place to bury his body, hoping he will come back o life. They will get more than they bargained for.
House of Wax: A group of buddies heading to a college football game take a shortcut, and find themselves stranded, get split apart, trip into a defected town, and enter a home of wax with a "closed" register the window. Plays like an average horror flip, however with modern-day, "fleshed-out" characters. An in-name-only redo of the 1953 film, albeit the wax sculptor is identified Vincent.
