The secrets to the law of attraction have been changing lives worldwide since 'The Secret', a movie that has an accompanying book, was released by Rhonda Byrne in 2004. Byrne, an Australian woman, made 'The Secret' because she had recently come out of a series of misfortunes both personal and professional and had been inspired to pick up the pieces and change her life by coming across a book published in 1910 by Wallace D. Wattles called 'The Science of Getting Rich'.
In his astounding book about how to create abundant wealth, Wallace D. Wattles says that getting rich very rarely happens by luck. There is a science behind it, and this science, once known, can be applied by anyone, anywhere. As long as this law of attraction of wealth is adhered to, a person who is not all that intelligent, or even all that talented, can become rich; while if highly intelligent or talented people fail to follow the secrets to the law of attraction that pertain to the attraction of wealth, they will never become rich. The law will work for anyone regardless of how good or bad they are, too. (Although the way that a good person uses his money will be vastly different from how a bad person does.)
Wallace also goes on to say that contrary to how many people tend to think, hard work and sacrifices aren't necessarily the key to becoming rich. Instead, one must simply do things in a "Certain Way" and this "Certain Way", as he calls it, is essentially the secret with regards to the laws of attraction of wealth. It was after reading only the first few pages that Rhonda Byrne became thoroughly inspired.
After having read "The Science of Getting Rich", Rhonda leaves no doubt that she was feeling attracted towards a certain direction when she says, "it gave me a glimpse of the secret, and it was like a flame inside my heart". Rhonda also goes on to explain how she was so moved by the book, that when she read it, actual tears fell from her eyes onto the pages of the book.
During the first two months that Rhonda spends reading about the secret, she realized that the secret was in fact contained in all great religions, great inventions, great scientific breakthroughs, exceptional businessman, and even philosophers. It was at this point that Rhonda realized without a doubt that she had now discovered the secrets to the law of attraction, and this motivated her into naming her movie "The Secret".
The law of attraction says that whatever we hold firmly and deeply in our minds, in time becomes our everyday reality. It says that imagination precedes experience and creates all of our core experiences of life and the world around us. This is not about twists of perception, either. It's not about illusions or delusions. The secrets to the law of attraction are to be taken literally.
If one's thoughts revolve around poverty, your actions and the way in which you live will tend to repulse money and wealth. On the other hand, if your thoughts revolve around believing that you are becoming richer and wealthier, then your actions and the way in which you live will serve to attract money. Once you start attracting money it results in even a grater positive attitude which then in turn attracts more money. Of course, this self same principle applies to other things in your life as well apart from just money.
Although there were many successful people appearing in "The Secret", in order to act as living examples of how to make the law of attraction work in your favor, one particular person springs to mind. Bob proctor is an extremely wealthy philosopher and also a highly successful life coach who has been working in the field of mind potential since he was a young man back in the sixties. After he appeared in "The Secret", Bob went on to produce his own CD, book, and DVD set, called "The 11 Forgotten Laws of Attraction". Bob compiled this set in order to help people flesh out the details regarding how to go about using the secrets to the law of attraction in order to improve their daily lives.
