Invincible: This is a documentary-drama based on events in Philadelphia in 1976. New head coach Dick Vermeil has an unconventional tryout for the NFL Eagles. Anyone who wants a shot to play pro football can come. He is looking for a way to create some interest in the team, and wake up his players. Out of all those who came, one man, Eagles diehard fan, and former high school football player, 30 year old teacher Vince Papale actually gets to go on to practice with the actual team. In a huge surprise, Vermeil keeps him on the team. In a fairy tale ending, Vince actually scores a touchdown in his short NFL career.
Rich Girl: Incredibly gentle time filler in reference to "meager little opulent gal" Schoelen leaving her life of comfort in her daddy's Bel-Air mansion and trying to make it on her own, ultimately hooking up with a blue-collar stone singer. Striving for satire, the filmmakers miss the mark entirely with this insipid, forgettable film, which has only a few entertaining moments. Arau child of Alfonso and his spouse, Arizmendi, initially made this as a small subject. Cast includes Caroline Aaron, Tony Abatemarco, Melinda Allen, Yareli Arizmendi, and Maria Beck.
