Not knowing how to get home, they do their best to adjust to life in the fifties. A first hating it, they eventually find that life in the fifties isn't all that bad.

Momentous earthquake and deluge scenes are displayed. The visual effects won an Academy Award. Down in the Valley: Fascinating try to converge a classic Western motif into a modern-day tale set in Southern California's San Fernando Valley, where a 30-something charmer rides into the life of an impressionable adolescent gal. Their romance goes awry as he exposes his real identity. Norton, recollecting a youthful Henry Fonda, is phenomenal, although author-controller Jacobson presents and then drops too numerous tale threads. Intriguing and vicious character research sounds like the bastard youngster of Taxi Driver and Desolate Are the Fearless.
